- It feels great to be playing again!
We started playing gigs again this weekend...and it feels great!
more »We had such a blast playing this weekend. Thanks to everyone that came out and rocked w/ us. The acoustic get together was fun. Thanks to Bull Moose for being so supportive! And MJ's was just off the hook fun. Our first shows w/ Ted and they went off w/out a hitch. I think we forgot how much fun it is to play live...or maybe we used to take it for granted....either way, I we're psyched to be playing shows again! Thanks to Robbie Kanner for the killer photos...you can check them out in the gallery (on the 'band' page.

- TED!
After a quick musician change and not missing a beat, we now have some killer official news...
more »New Guitarist Added to Lost on Liftoff
We would like to take this time to welcome Ted Waner to the Lost on Liftoff family. We told, well, warned Ted actually, that this isn't a normal "family". We have a different set of values than "normal" families. We drink at the dinner table. We have 4 remotes so that even though someone can change the channel, the others have the power to turn his shit off. We forget each others birthdays and don't always celebrate holiadys together.
But our family reunions are kick ass and when we get together with our other memebers (thats you all) we are all proud to be .. uh, Liftoffs.
Ted will shred guitar and sing along side Walter and most likely jump and freak the hell out on stage. He's a rockin fella and he's stoked to play with us. The feeling is mutual. We feel as good as we've ever felt as a band and you all FINALLY are going to get it good.
Stay tuned for show info coming soon. We need you all there with us when we fire this shit back up!
Join us in welcoming Ted to the fam. Later this week we will have Ted slice his hand and handshake with us all while tossing some salt over his left shoulder.

- Add Lost on Liftoff to your Facebook!
Are you on Facebook? Well, now you can add the Lost On Liftoff "app" to your profile!
more »Are you on Facebook? Well, now you can add the Lost On Liftoff "app" to your profile!
The app puts the album cover from the group's latest album, "Mixtape Blackouts", on your Facebook profile page, along with a player that lets you (or your friends) play your favorite LOL tune right then and there.
You can change your fav and invite friends and fans to add the app to their profile. So if you're on Facebook, help spread the love!
The app made a bi splash last week, when it had its World Premiere at the Tech Maine conference. Pemaquid Communications, the Portland Web design studio that created the app, used it as part of a demonstration on how to make these cool little widgets.
Pemaquid is the first Maine Web design shop to create Facebook apps, and we're the first local rock band to have a Facebook app designed. Score!
Pemaquid is hosting LOL's Web site, and is working with us to redesign our site and add some cool new features.
